Power Supply Polarity

OK, so you've trawled the local car boot for a 10V power supply for your Megadrive v1 but it doesn't work? Remember, the transformer may be positive or negatively poled depending on how the console is wired. There's usually a picture on the back of the transformer like this:

The UK Megadrive version 1 console, for example, has negative polarity (MDII has positive polarity).
