Final Fantasy

Final Fantasy character Cloud
Final Fantasy is a story like no other. The origins of Final Fantasy in general is outstanding. In the magical era of the 80's, square was facing bankruptcy due to poor sales of titles they had made. Hironobu Sakaguchi, Director of Planning and Development for Square at the time, wanted to create a game. It was his last attempt at making a successful game. Were he to fail, he would move back to university. The game of his last attempt in the gaming industry was called "Final Fantasy". The name stemmed from his feelings about the situation. Thankfully it was a huge success and has created a lot of titles in the main series and countless branches into spin-off series. No matter what you think of Final Fantasy, and/or the way it has progressed over the years, Final Fantasy is far from final.
