Easily the best arcade emulator, with support for hundreds of arcade games. Open source means anyone can submit drivers for new games which means more and more games are being added each release. Written by Nicola Salmoria and the MAME team Open Source :-) Check out their page here.

CALLUS

Callus is a Capcom Arcade Emulator released in 1998, programmed by Icer Addis (Smegma, Sardu). Capcom have produced some classic arcade games so this emulator is a must. Games include Street Fighter 2, UN Squadron and 1942.

RAGE

Emulates SNK and Capcom games and the Neo Rage Emulator for NeoGeo games. Supported games include Metal Slug, King Of Fighters 96 and Samurai Showdown 2 (Neo Rage) with Rage supporting classics such as Blade Master, R-Type and Ikari Warriors.
